NEWS & UPDATES


Uniform Distribution

  • Abubakar As-Siddiq Islamic School – 366 pupils (including over 36 registered orphans) have received uniforms free of charge.

  • Ameena wa Abdulla Alharaqan Islamic School – 461 pupils (including over 68 registered orphans) have received uniforms free of charge.

Both schools operate under a 100% free education system for registered orphans. Through these efforts, the program ensures that orphans grow up with dignity, opportunity, and the tools needed to build a brighter future.

The program aims to nurture a strong sense of faith, morality, and community responsibility, ensuring that Islamic values remain a guiding force in the lives of beneficiaries and the wider society.

Waqaf (endowments)

The Waqaf program is dedicated to serving the community through sustainable projects that provide long-term benefits to society. These initiatives include:

Borehole Projects:

  1. Abubakar As-Siddiq School Borehole

80m deep, serving 260 people daily (Built 2021)

  1. Ameena wa Abdulla Alharaqan School Borehole

90m deep, serving 340 people daily (Built 2024)

  1. Borehole/Well of Shaikah Abdullah Alhargan

85m deep, serving 240 people daily (Built 16-04-2025)

  1. Borehole/Well of Hassah Muhd Anber

125m deep, serving over 500 people daily (Built 20-12-2023)

All boreholes are solar-powered 24/7 for sustainable operation.


Masjid & Islamic School development

Under Doha Charitable Association for Orphans, we build and maintain 2 mosques and 2 Islamiyya schools for both orphans and the wider community

  1. Abubakar As-Siddiq Juma’at Mosque

    • Location: No. 8 Yankusa

    • Imams: 5

    • Call to Prayer (Mu’adhins): 3

    • Established: 2021

  2. Ameena wa Abdulla Alharaqan Juma’at Mosque

    • Location: No. 5 & 6 Jardede Mai Aduwa

    • Imams: 4

    • Call to Prayer (Mu’adhins): 3

    • Established: 2024

Islamic Schools:

  1. Abubakar As-Siddiq Islamic School

    • Pupils: 366 (including over 36 registered orphans)

    • Teachers: 18 (male and female)

    • Supporting Staff: 7

  2. Ameena wa Abdulla Alharaqan Islamic School

    • Pupils: 461 (including over 68 registered orphans)

    • Teachers: 23 (male and female)

    • Supporting Staff: 4

Ummahat Section (Orphan Mothers Program):

Around 70 mothers (including orphan mothers and general pupils’ mothers) are enrolled in educational programs, learning both Islamic and practical skills.

All mosques, Islamic schools, and boreholes are powered by solar energy 24/7 to ensure sustainability.


Ramadan Program

During Ramadan and up to Dhul-Hijjah, the Association runs special initiatives to support the needy and strengthen faith:

  • Feeding Project – Daily iftar and suhoor meals for orphans and underprivileged families.

  • Qur’an Tafseer& Religious Lectures – Spiritual guidance and community education throughout Ramadan.

  • Eid Activities – Sewing and gifting new clothes to orphans for Eid celebrations, and distributing Qurbani meat during Eid al-Adha.
